The campsite is nestled in the beautiful Lake District, offering stunning views of Skiddaw and the Northern Fells. It’s a perfect base for exploring the area, with nearby attractions like Whinlatter Forest and the market town of Keswick.
The site offers a range of amenities, including toilet blocks with underfloor heating, showers, wash basins, a laundry area, a bike service station, and a shop. There’s also a large children’s play area and Wi-Fi access.
You can enjoy cycling, walking, and mountain biking in the surrounding area. There are also nearby lakes and rivers for swimming and boating Overall, Braithwaite Village Campsite seems to be a fantastic choice for a relaxing and scenic camping experience! And its by far my favourite site in the Lakes . There’s two pubs in the village that serve great food . The Coaldale Inn is great for food and the Royal Oak has a great pub atmosphere . You can find some Amazing walks right from the site too .
