In 2006, I began my journey into the world of van conversions by establishing Alpine Campers, a business dedicated to transforming panel vans into bespoke camper vans. With creativity and commitment at its core, the company quickly gained recognition for its craftsmanship and attention to detail, offering customers an opportunity to explore the great outdoors in style and comfort. Over the years, Alpine Campers evolved, growing into a trusted name within the camper van community. I poured my passion for travel, innovation, and design into every project, enabling adventurers to embark on unforgettable journeys.
However, the world changed dramatically in 2020 with the onset of the pandemic, and I was inspired to pivot my focus. Recognizing a growing interest in self-sufficiency and DIY projects during this time, I decided to share my expertise in van building in a more accessible way. My aim was to empower individuals to create their own camper vans, ensuring they could personalize their experience while learning valuable skills.
This shift led to the creation of Ad-vanture, an online platform designed to be a comprehensive resource for the van-building community. Ad-vanture offers expert guidance, practical advice, and inspiration for both beginners taking their first steps into the world of van conversions and seasoned professionals seeking advanced techniques. Through coaching sessions and an array of helpful tools, I’ve dedicated myself to helping others build not just their dream vans, but also a lifestyle filled with exploration and freedom.

Do we still build vans ?
Absolutely ! We still build vans but not as many as we used to , We shifted our attention closer to the bigger vans like the VW crafter and Mercedes sprinter as we found that the market for the VW transporter size van was over saturated . We now focus on Adventure vans that you can spend more time in total comfort and build them to a high standard , Think of a five star hotel room on wheels that you can explore the world in!
