Dodo sound deaden should be the first stage of your insulation process . The recommended amount of cover is 80% but I prefer to cover as much as possible so aim for 100% if you can , This not only kills road noise but acts as a barrier from the cold bridge between the outside temperature and the warmer temperature inside . This bridge is the main cause of condensation and needs to be kept to a minimum . To measure the area you need to cover simply times the height by the length so a 4m x 2m wall would be 8 square metres . more information on insulation on our product review page.
